This exciting new Art Program -Tour is designed especially to celebrate the sacred Navratri Festival (dedicated to the Goddess) in the Kali Mata Temple in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh and in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh at the sacred Yogini temple. Two new locations, one of which is an authentic village home stay totally of the tourist trail…an unforgettable experience with a creative project designed to leave a lasting legacy
We will also be visiting the sweet, small town of Bundi in Rajasthan whose collection of traditional miniature paintings is one of the best in India, Jaipur the ‘pink’ city and the small textile village of Bagru, home to the ancient craft of traditional woodblock printing
I’m really excited and proud about this new tour! As well as the usual inspirational art program: mixed media workshops, visiting traditional artisans, sketchbook epiphanies and opportunities to instigate new art projects for yourself…we will be spending time in authentic village communities and sacred temples.
